Year of giving SNMH grants $60,000 to community organizations

Nearly $60,000 in grants has been awarded to eight local nonprofits this year through the Community Grants Program at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. The individual grants range from $4,000 to $10,000 and are intended to further the hospital’s mission of meeting needs of the underserved, according to Debbie Wagner, RN, director of community and physician relations. “All of the recipients are serving at-risk populations, and doing fantastic work in our community,” Wagner said. “We believe support and collaboration are vital in this time of economic challenge, and we are proud to partner with these organizations that are providing access to …
