Eight girls volleyball players and one football player were suspended from competing for their teams this week after it was discovered they were drinking at a weekend party. The eight volleyball players were benched for the final two games of the season, which included senior night, said NU volleyball coach Marco Salcedo. “It was senior night and the last two games of the year, and I felt bad, but Kelly (Rhoden) and I had to stand firm,” Salcedo said.
