Calif. gas too expensive

My wife and I recently returned from a month long trip to Colorado and Utah. We were pleased that the price we paid for a gallon of regular gasoline ranged between $3.599 and $3.899. We were surprised to find that our Subaru Forester was getting three to five more miles per gallon on the out of state gasoline, while doing the same type of driving we do here at home. That’s more than ten percent better mileage on non-California formulated fuel that costs considerably less than here in California.
