At the second Pioneer Valley League cross country meet of the season, this time at Colfax High School, Bear River’s girls team gave Placer a scare, but in the end, the Hillgals ran away with a five-point victory. Mary Nattrass led the Lady Bruins with a dominating race and a first-place overall finish with a time of 21 minutes and 8 seconds.
