Miners water polo gangs up on ‘Wolves

The Nevada Union boys water polo team squeaked by Woodcreek Thursday, 10-9. The Miners got goals from seven different players and played solid defense to hold out for the Sierra Foothill League win. Gabe Saturnino led the Miners with three goals, Will Carrara added two, and Alex Fitanides, Kendall Pawlowski, Earl English, Ryan Willett and Ryan Filek each punched in one.
