The Bear River and Nevada Union cross country teams headed to the Stanford Invitational Saturday and found out just where they stand against more than 400 other runners. In one of the largest cross country meets in the country, both schools claimed several top-50 finishes. In the boys 5K race, which consisted of more than 230 competitors, the Miners had two runners place in the top 50. Garrett Migliozzi led NU with a 14th-place finish at 16 minutes, 34 seconds.
