The first Pioneer Valley League cross country meet of the 2012 season is in the books. Bear River’s Mary Nattrass blew the varsity girls field away with an impressive race to finish the 3.15-mile course in first place with a time of 20:06. The next closest runner was 20:51. The Lady Bruins also had great races from Sierra Mitchell, fifth place with a time of 21:35 and Kimmy Pugel, sixth place with a time of 21:41.
