Growing up in Nevada County in the 1960s offered challenges different, but akin to, the experiences of kids in today's era. Too often we forget how it "will be" and reflect on the way it "use to be." Last year, I had the fortune of presenting ideas to the NUHS Partnership Academy, suggesting outreach for senior projects into the nonprofit and service sectors.
