Friday — 45 calls for service
12:17 p.m. A caller from the 800 block of Forest Glade Circle reported a large kitchen knife located in his back yard.
3:37 p.m. a caller from South Auburn and Empire Street reported a woman wearing orange stumbling in and out of traffic.
4:58 p.m. A caller near Prosser Creek reported a possible poached Big Horn sheep carcass.
7:30 p.m. A caller from West Main and North Church streets reported a hit and run. Contact was made with a witness. Attempts to contact the victim were unsuccessful.

8:59 a.m. A caller from the 600 block of Eskaton Circle reported suspicious items on property that recently had transient issues. Caller reported a ladder leaning against an adjoining property’s fence as an access point.
1:15 p.m. A caller near the 200 block of West Main Street reported a man being beaten up.
3:32 p.m. A caller from Sierra College and Main Street reported a suspicious male dressed in all black walking in and out of traffic and yelling at passersby.

12:17 p.m. A caller from the 13000 block of Ranchero Way reported his dog was attacked by a neighbor’s dog on neighbor’s property.
1:58 p.m. A caller from the 16000 block of Hilaire Road reported a theft of four tires from a carport during the last month.
12:43 p.m. A caller from the 20000 block of La Costa Court reported Internet fraud from an email.
3:21 p.m. A caller from the 11000 block of Buckeye Road reported the theft of a fountain and generator over the past three weeks. The caller also reported a phone call about a neighbor with suspicious subjects on property.
6:47 p.m. A caller from the 17000 block of Jones Ridge Road reported sounds of physical banging. Blood and weapons were found in the area of the front entry. Two males were detained who were hiding in the downstairs garage. A large amount of marijuana was confiscated.

12:34 a.m. A caller from the 19000 block of McCourtney Road reported a theft of a chain and lock prior to a renting tenant’s leaving.
10:38 p.m. A caller near Highway 20 reported a motorcycle and a male lying in road. The call was transferred to California Highway Patrol.
