Patricia Ann Greco, “The Silver Lady,” of Grass Valley died Friday, April 19, 2013, peacefully in her home. She was 78.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. April 30, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, followed by a luncheon to celebrate her life at St. Patrick’s Hall.
Father Sylvester will hold rosary at 5 p.m. Monday, April 29, at St. Patrick’s Monday, April 29, 2013.
She was born April 5, 1935, in Gainesville, Fla., to Beatrice Cheney and Gayle Warrick. Pat was known for being an active member of St. Patrick’s Church and devoting her life to Christ. She was a member of the YLI and Legion of Mary.
Patricia was frequently and affectionately known as “The Silver Lady” because she owned The Little Silver Palace in downtown Grass Valley. Patricia loved spending time with her family and saying the rosary. She had a gift for making, collecting and selling jewelry. Her devotion to Christ, as well as her overwhelming love and patience, will be greatly missed.
Patricia is survived by her children, Michael Greco, Denise Bethel-Greco, Tamara Greco and Mathew Greco all of Grass Valley; sisters, Beverly Forner of Grass Valley, Brenda Mantooth of Missouri; brother, Garry Warrick of Santa Rosa; and her 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Greco; her parents; and brothers, Eugene and Gayle Warrick.
Arrangements are under the care of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
