Craig Randall Zetterberg died March 15, 2014, of a sudden heart attack. He was 49.
Services will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 6 at the Grass Valley Fairgrounds.
Craig was born Feb. 7, 1965, in Detroit, Mich. He was raised in Concord, Calif., and graduated from Clayton Valley High School in 1983.
He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in business, with an emphasis on finance and economics. Craig earned his teaching credential from San Francisco State University. Recently he had obtained his administrative credential.
For the first 15 years of his career, Craig taught social studies at Wheatland High School. For the last seven years, Craig had been teaching and coaching at Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley.
Craig is survived by his wife of 20 years, Collette LaRocque; son Keegan, 14, and daughter Alexandra, 11, all of Grass Valley; parents Bob and Carrie Zetterberg of Arnold; and sister Kim Kirschner (Peter) of Pleasanton.
