Marcella and Horst enjoyed frequent travels to Europe, visiting family and places of family history. They also enjoyed trips to Russia, Alaska and many other places. Marcella was a member of the LDS Church, Lake of the Pines Ward.
Marcella is survived by her husband of 53 years, Horst Dieter Bendzulla; daughters Sylvia Lewis and Sonja McEntee; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews living in Bavaria and Austria.
Marcella will be long remembered as someone who saw the good in everyone. She loved her family immensely and unconditionally. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing Marcella felt her goodness and warmth. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Bristol Hospice of California.
