Jacqueline “Jackie” H. Mathews-Summers passed away July 16 at home with family and friends at her side following a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 56 years old.
Jackie was born March 15, 1957 to Henry and Dorothy Harner in Palm Springs, CA. Shortly thereafter, her family relocated to Cedar Ridge where Jackie spent much of her life. She attended grade school at Mt. St. Mary’s and graduated from Nevada Union High School in 1975. She attended Sierra College.

She enjoyed family, friends, gardening, the outdoors, her menagerie of animals, and traveling. Jackie was a volunteer with many Penn Valley area groups including the Community Association, Chamber of Commerce, and the Community Center Foundation.
She leaves her Beloved Husband, Dave Summers and her Sister, Jill Harner. She was preceded in death by both her Father, Henry and Mother, Dorothy.
