Police Blotter: Bodies of adult and baby horse in bushes

GRASS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sunday

7:47 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of South School Street reported they heard the rear screen door open of a vacant house that possibly has someone inside.

8:20 a.m. — A caller from the 900 block of Golden Gate Terrace reported a theft to a locked vehicle with multiple items taken.

8:42 a.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Sutton Way reported finding a first-aid kit with hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia inside.

8:47 a.m. — A caller from South Auburn and Bank streets reported a woman approximately 40-50 years old wearing a bright orange jacket, carrying a blue bag and walking with an unknown woman yelling at passersby to “just kill me.”

10:31 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Jan Road reported a loose aggressive dog on her property.

12:55 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Solar Drive reported an unlocked vehicle that was entered last night.

1:38 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Pleasant Street reported the neighbor just ran over her dog on purpose, killing it.

1:39 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Pleasant Street reported he just killed his neighbor’s dog accidentally.

6:21 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Brighton Street reported suspicious subjects in a silver Honda in the parking lot next to the park, drinking and possibly smoking illegal narcotics.

9:00 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of East Main Street reported suspicious subjects in a blue Buick who appeared to be possibly casing the property.

9:02 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of Sutton Way reported a subject carrying a large backpack and making threats to him.

9:54 p.m. — A caller from the 800 block of East Main Street reported a customer gave him a fake $20 bill.

1:14 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Doris Drive reported she saw a male and female couple looking around the house next door who stated they were looking for a friend who sometimes sleeps on the porch.

11:47 a.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Spring Street reported an unoccupied dark brown station wagon parked in front of his address, and he cannot leave.

1:12 p.m. — A caller from Commercial and North Pine streets reported a woman with dreadlocks causing a disturbance on the boardwalk.

2:24 p.m. — A caller from the 400 block of Nimrod Street reported what he believed to be an abandoned 8 or 9-year-old female in the park.

3:06 p.m. — A caller from Cabin Street reported a male who had been drinking passed out in front of his house.

7:46 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Scotts Valley Road reported he was just attacked at the listed location.

10:31 p.m. — A caller from Lake Vera Prudon Road and North Bloomfield-Graniteville Road reported a vehicle that crashed and hit a tree.

9:54 a.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Idaho-Maryland Road reported a theft of a purse from an unlocked vehicle.

10:37 a.m. — A caller from Brunswick and Idaho-Maryland roads reported graffiti to his vehicle.

10:51 a.m. — A caller from Clover Valley Road reported a stray that has been staying on her property.

10:58 a.m. — A caller from Norlene Way reported her nephew is “high on meth” and punched a hole in her wall.

11:52 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Smith Road reported an unoccupied blue minivan parked on the property.

12:31 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Fern Lane reported a request for advice about trapping a skunk.

1:23 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of Valencia Road reported he “is losing it, get a unit here” and hung up.

2:17 p.m. — A caller from Rex Reservoir Road reported finding the bodies of an adult and baby horse in the bushes.

2:58 p.m. — A caller from Little Valley Road reported suspicious activity with a subject who is allowing his children to ride on the windshield and bed of a truck in an unusual manner.

4:19 p.m. — A caller from Allison Ranch and McCourtney roads reported 20-30 shots heard from the area near the treatment plant.

5:29 p.m. — A caller from the 13000 block of Greenhorn Road reported a subject trespassing on his property.

8:11 p.m. — A caller from the 17000 block of Penn Valley Drive reported theft of alcohol from their business.

8:39 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported a male subject lying on the ground, crying in front of a business.

9:55 p.m. — A caller from Easy Street and Siesta Drive reported two suspicious males walking on the street, shining a flashlight into residences, and said break-ins have happened in the area recently.

10:19 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Ballantree Lane reported a vacant house that has been broken into and trashed inside a month ago and now lights are on inside the house.

10:49 p.m. — A caller from Highway 49 and Combie Road reported a woman in her 50s with a prosthetic leg panhandling and harassing customers.

12:09 a.m. — A caller from Alta Sierra Drive and Kardale Court reported she just hit a black dog with an orange collar that is still alive and breathing heavily.

12:35 a.m. — A caller from the 16000 block of Norlene Way reported the doorbell rang and a tall male tried to open the front door.
