Michele Lee Wilson (Micky) passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014, in her own home in North San Juan, Calif. She passed away of renal disease, upon her own wishes. She was 68.
She was born in Battle Creek, Mich., on Dec. 18, 1945. She was the third child out of eight. Micky lived life the way she wanted. You could’ve called her a “jack of all trades.” She was a truck driver, waitress and “handywoman.” Her passion, however, was art. She loved to draw, paint and engrave.
Micky Wilson was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Randy) Turner of Harrison, Mich.; son, Michael (Mary) Fox of Jackson, Mich.; grandchildren Stephanie Turner, Heather Turner, Wayne Fox, Harley Fox and Logan Fox; great-grandchild, Marshall A. Flew; siblings Patricia Slee of Laclede, Idaho, Pamela Potter of Houghton Lake, Mich., Barbara (Jim) Rentschler of Grass Valley, Calif., Terry Taylor of North San Juan, Robert Kulp of Lake City, Mich., Brian Kulp of Sand Point, Idaho, and Melody (Bob) Donnenwirth of Grass Valley; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. But who could forget about her four-legged loves, Sweetie-Pie, Eddie and Honeybell.
Memorial donations should be sent to Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter, 530-272-8833, 14647 McCourtney Road, Grass Valley, CA 95949.
A very special thank you to all the employees at DaVita for the care of Micky and another very special thank you for the co-workers at Hospice of Foothills. You were all great comfort and help through this time.
I can hear her saying, “Should-da, Would-da, Could-da!”
