Known for its unique co-working environment and business ignitor courses, Sierra Commons is now kicking off its own offering of workshops beginning Aug. 26.
With the move to a new location at 792 Searls Avenue in Nevada City, the organization now has more opportunities to reach out to the local business community with Lunch and Learn workshops, individual evening offerings and workshop series.
Sierra Commons has developed The Studio, which is a dedicated space for workshops and meetings. The Studio comfortably seats a class of 20 students and is handicapped accessible. It offers a projector and screen for computer generated presentations, white boards, a conference table (if desired), chairs and ample counter space for displaying class/workshop materials or offering snacks and beverages for participants. The Studio is available for rent to those wanting to offer workshops or host meetings of their own, separate from those being offered by Sierra Commons.

Sept. 16: QuickBooks Intro with Greg Barker, CPA.
Sept. 30: How to “Green” Your Business with Carmen Mateo, Alucina Design Studio.
Sept. 24: QuickBooks 101 with Greg Barker, CPA.
Oct. 1: QuickBooks Intermediate with Greg Barker, CPA.
Oct. 8: QuickBooks Advanced with Greg Barker, CPA.
