Moon over Smartsville

Smartsville photographer Annita Kasparian took this shot of the ‘Super Moon’ on June 22. Officially, the full moon falls on the morning of June 23, But, for many, the moon appeared about as full in the June 22 evening sky as it did on June 23. This full moon was the closest and largest full moon of the year and was the moon’s closest encounter with earth for all of 2013.
