Join Nevada County Online on April 23 for a no-holds-barred, under the hood look at two profitable niche membership sites with expert and four-time world juggling champion, Barry Friedman. Barry will introduce you to everything you need to know about taking your experience and expertise and offering it to a global audience. Open-ended membership, fixed-term membership, group coaching — write it, record it, or video it once and sell it over and over while helping others with your wisdom and know-how.
A mountain bike accident in February of 2007 left Barry with a shattered collarbone and was unable to juggle. While laying in recovery for six months he questioned what else he was really good at. The answer he came up with? Selling a juggling act for a lot of money.
It was during that time he realized that there were countless entertainers around the world who would love to know how to improve the ‘business’ half of their show business career. His first membership site, www.GetMoreCorporateGigs.com went live in January of 2009, has hundreds of active members, and has been completely automated since January of 2010.
With his second membership site, which is completely outside of the circus-geek niche and holds the real gold, he will share the strategies and tools he uses to create these profitable, online properties.
As the taller and balder half of the Raspyni Brothers since 1982, Barry has traveled the world performing his comedy/juggling show for Fortune 500 companies at Sales Meetings, Product Launches, Trade Shows, User Conferences, and Award Banquets. He has toured as an opening act for dozens of celebrity headliners including Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Tom Jones, and Patti LaBelle. In February of 2014 he will be in Vancouver, BC performing for the sixth time on the main stage of the annual TED Conference. The presentation will be at 11 a.m. on April 23 at Courtyard Suites, 210 North Auburn Street, Grass Valley. There is a $5 suggested donation.
