Rotary donates to hospital foundation's Oncology CT Simulator Project

Grass Valley Rotary President Tim McCall presented Kimberly Parker, executive director of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation, with a $1,000 donation to support SNMH Foundation’s Oncology CT Simulator project. Grass Valley Rotary Club’s donation was matched through a generous donor challenge match program that is currently in effect. All donations made to the Oncology CT Simulator project will be matched dollar for dollar.

The challenge period was originally set to end March 31 but SNMH Foundation is very close to reaching this goal. With just $60,000 remaining, the challenge match has been extended to June 30.

a“Improving patient care is a top priority and securing a modern Oncology CT Simulator for our cancer center ensures that treatment planning for radiation oncology is accurate, safe and as comfortable as possible for our patients,” said Parker.
