Sierra Foothills Audubon Society speaker addresses land management plans

At the April 4 meeting of the Sierra Foothills Audubon Society, Don Rivenes will provide an update on existing and citizen-proposed wildernesses with photos of hikes you can take in the Tahoe National Forest to these areas. He will also discuss Forest Service plans underway for revising the 11 Sierra national forests land management plans and how the revisions may affect inventoried roadless areas that are the basis for future wilderness.
