The Nevada County Democrats will hold an educational forum supporting Women’s issues at 5:30 p.m. on March 5 at the Nevada City Veteran’s Hall, 415 North Pine St. in downstairs dining area. The guest speaker will be Sandy Schmidt, founder and executive director of Women of Worth. Every time Sandy adds a new service to Women of Worth, the underlying question is always, “What would help others to escape and start a new life?” There will be pizza and salad served, and no-host beverages available.
