The Nevada County Division of the Retired Teachers Association will meet March 4 at the Alta Sierra Country Club. The program will feature Karen Nelson, organizer of the annual Children’s Festival, which takes place every July at Pioneer Park. CalRTA has dual purposes. Its core purpose is to protect the benefits of retired educators and provide them with the tools to achieve a secure and dignified retirement.
