Americans for Safe Access-Nevada County to host free screening of ‘What if Cannabis Cured Cancer’

In recognition of National Medical Marijuana Week, Americans for Safe Access-Nevada County is hosting a free screening of the provocative film, “What if Cannabis Cured Cancer,” from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Odd Fellows Hall in Nevada City. The film summarizes the research findings of recent years about the cancer-protective effects of novel compounds in marijuana. Writer and Director Len Richmond will be a guest on KVMR’s Cannabis Crusades program at noon Friday to discuss the making of “What if Cannabis Cured Cancer.” The screening will be followed by a panel of patients who have successfully treated their cancers with …
