The Nevada County Consolidated Veterans Council in conjunction with CEAR is planning a free e-waste drop-off event Feb. 16 in the parking lot at the Grass Valley Veterans Memorial Building from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., located at 255 S. Auburn St. The NCCVC’s primary focus is needed renovations, combined with the preservation and the use of the 1930s art deco building for community events, such as parties, conferences, weddings, sports leagues, shows, dances and other social functions.
