Nevada City Police officers arrested a 20-year-old man as he allegedly tried to peddle a piece of jewelry he had stolen from a vehicle just a few nights before to a local jewelry store owner. Jonathon Trihub has been linked to at least one other vehicular burglary and could be responsible for a recent surge of reported break-ins, according to Officer Scott Goin. “Since Christmas Day, we’ve had a rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Nevada Street and Willow Valley Road area,” Goin said.
