In their joint building venture, the board of the Nevada City-headquartered KVMR radio station and the Nevada Theatre Commission have selected Landmark Construction Co. of Loomis as the general contractor. The joint project plans to replace the three tin sheds behind the Nevada Theatre at the corner of Spring and Bridge streets with a new building that will house the radio station’s broadcast studios and offices and provide additional backstage space for the historic theater.
