Local roadwork announced


Short-term projects

Highway 20 (Nevada County) at Idaho-Maryland Road: Westbound motorists can expect the off-ramp closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do roadway excavation work.

Highway 49 (Sierra County) from the Yuba County line to Yuba Summit: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations from 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to miscellaneous maintenance work.

Highway 49 (Sierra County) from Heriot Lane to the Plumas County line: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls at various locations from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to miscellaneous maintenance work.

Highway 49 (Placer County) at the American River Bridge in the Auburn Ravine: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do bridge inspection work.

Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from Fiberboard undercrossing to the Truckee Scales: Motorists can expect the No. 1 lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Wednesday. A contactor is scheduled to do bridge work.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from Towle overcrossing to Drum Forebay: Motorists can expect the No. 2 lanes closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. A contactor is scheduled to do bridge work.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from Weimar Cross Road to Placer Hills Road/Canyon Way: Motorists can expect various lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do bridge maintenance.

Highway 89 (Nevada and Sierra counties) from Sagehen Creek to Webber Lake/Cottonwood Creek Road: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do drainage work.

Highway 89 (Sierra County) from Old Truckee Road to Cottonwood Creek Campground: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do tree work.

Highway 174 (Nevada County) from Rattlesnake Road to Pine Hill Drive: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do tree work.
