Nevada County Police Blotter: Fake money and an unwanted ride

12:52 p.m. — A caller in the 500 block of Mill Street reported a man lying on the sidewalk next to the trees. The caller poked him and he was unresponsive.

3:49 p.m. — A caller in the 200 block of South Church Street reported an injury accident in the parking lot involving a red Chevrolet Tahoe and a silver sedan.

8:12 p.m. — A caller in the 10000 block of Grinding Rock Drive reported a granddaughter is locked in a room physically fighting a man, who threatened to stab himself in the neck if he saw law enforcement.

7:48 a.m. — A caller in the 100 block of Catherine Lane reported multiple subjects sexually harassing a woman in front of the business.

9:55 a.m. — A caller in the 1900 block of Nevada City Highway reported a counterfeit bill received from the business. When the caller returned the fraudulent bill, employees returned it to the cash register.

10:45 a.m. — A caller at Maltman Drive and Olympia Park Road reported a person in the trunk of an older tan sedan headed toward Joerschke at a high rate of speed.
