GRASS VALLEY ROADWORK

Tuesday through Friday Sept. 24-27

Freeman Lane, between Taylorville Road and Mill Street will be subject to traffic control for underground utility work Sept. 24-Sept. 27.

The Traffic Control System should allow public traffic to pass without delay the majority of the time that the work is in progress. Any delays should be minimal to the traveling public, as every effort will be made to accommodate motorists in a timely manner.

Please observe all construction signs and the instructions of onsite personnel.

SIERRA ROADWORK

Monday through Saturday Sept. 23-28

LONG-TERM PROJECTS

Interstate 80 (Placer and Nevada Counties) from Carpenter Flat to Hampshire Rock: Work continues on the $105 million Emigrant Gap project on Interstate 80.

Work includes total roadway replacement with Portland Cement Concrete, improving the drainage systems and installing new sediment/debris collection systems. Completion is expected in October.

Sept. 23-27

Interstate 80 (Placer and Nevada County) from Cisco Grove to Yuba Gap: Motorists can expect various east and westbound lane and ramp closures from 10 p.m. Sunday through noon Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do miscellaneous maintenance work. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at a time to allow for local access.

SHORT-TERM PROJECTS

State Route 20 (Nevada County) from Pet Hill to Uren Street: Motorists can expect intermittent east and westbound lane and ramp closures from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday through Saturday.

A contractor is scheduled to grinding and paving work. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at one time to allow for motorist access.

State Route 49 (El Dorado and Placer Counties) from State Route 193 in Cool to the Bear River Bridge: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do miscellaneous maintenance work.

State Route 49 (Sierra County) from Lemon Canyon to Filippini Road: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do ditch work.

State Route 49 (Sierra and Yuba Counties) from Yuba Pass to the Nevada County line: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do miscellaneous maintenance work.

Interstate 80 (Sierra and Nevada Counties) from the Nevada State line to Floriston: Motorists can expect the westbound #2 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do slide removal.

Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from Vista Point to the Agriculture Inspection Station: Motorists can expect the east and westbound No. 1 lanes closed from midnight to noon Monday through Friday.

A contractor is scheduled to do drainage work.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from State Route 193 to Gold Run: Motorists can expect various east and westbound lane closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do miscellaneous maintenance work.

State Route 89 (Nevada County) from Rainbow Drive to Adler Creek: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do ditch work.
