Medicare clarity meeting set for Wednesday in Grass Valley
Medicare can be confusing. Timelines, deadlines and penalties as well as local choices and benefits are important to understand.
Nevada County Seniors turning 65 and the permanently disabled are invited to an open community meeting 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lumberjack’s Restaurant at 2075 Nevada City Highway in Grass Valley (across from the Fowler Center).
The meeting is free of charge and will be conducted by Bill Anderson, who serves hundreds of people on Medicare in Nevada County. Anderson is a member of the 2013 ICA council, the top 1 percent of licensed independent career agents in the country. Anderson, who lives in Nevada County, is authorized to provide Medicare Advantage, supplements and drug plans and is certified, licensed and experienced with Medicare choices throughout California and Washington state.
