The Bear River baseball team got a gem from Andrew Reiss on the mound and it led to an 8-1 home victory over last season’s Pioneer Valley League champ, Placer. Reiss pitched a complete game one-hitter Thursday at Bear River, leaving Hillman batters frustrated. The senior pitcher went seven innings, allowing an unearned run while striking out six and walking one.
