Acknowledging the contributions to the North Star Chapter of DeMolay International to the community, Nevada City Mayor Duane Strawser issued a proclamation Wednesday recognizing March as DeMolay Month in Nevada City. With more than 1,000 chapters worldwide, DeMolay is an organization dedicated to preparing young men by developing the civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills.
