Repeated shoplifting attempts at Kmart landed two suspects in jail Wednesday, according to Grass Valley Police Sgt. Steve Johnson. In the first incident, officers were dispatched to the store at about 4:15 p.m. for a shoplifting in progress. According to the store’s loss prevention officer, the suspect was still in the store when officers arrived. Anthony David Vignau, 38, was detained as he exited the store and allegedly was wearing a watch that the loss prevention agent identified as having been stolen.
