Beginning March 7, community members are invited to participate in a free, six-week Healthier Living Workshop Series hosted by Western Sierra Medical Clinic. The Healthier Living classes will take place Thursdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Miners Family Health Center through April 11. Designed to help those living with any type of chronic health condition, the classes are free and open to the public. Chronic conditions are generally of long duration and slow progression and may include heart disease, stroke, cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes, MS, celiac disease, ALS, arthritis and chronic pain.
