Alpine skiing: NU boys carve out 1st, team takes 2nd

The Nevada Union boys alpine ski team secured first-place for the season in the CNISSF Central II Division after a strong showing in Monday’s slalom event at Boreal. The girls team came in third to end the season, and with the combined team points the Miners earned second place overall, finishing behind Davis. Olivia McDowell led the girls Monday with a ninth-place finish and a combined race time of 1:22.48. Julia Ramirez took 10th with a time of 1:24.48.
