The annual Christmas HoHoHo event by Women of Worth helped brighten the spirits of 95 families that were given a Christmas this year. “It went great,” said Nan Drummer, a member of Women of Worth. “Everybody seemed extremely appreciative, there were a few tears, and we had a huge 10-foot Christmas tree someone donated form North San Juan.” The families in need go through a screening process, providing proof of residency and other documentation and families in most need are chosen by “angels” who adopt a family, providing gifts for a family that would otherwise go without. “All the families …
