‘Blue Christmas Service’

set for Friday

Grass Valley United Methodist Church, 236 S. Church St., is holding a Blue Christmas Service at 5 p.m. Friday in the Sanctuary.

A Blue Christmas Service is designed to acknowledge that for many people, Christmas is a time of loneliness, sorrow, alienation or sadness.

This service offers a way for people to claim those feelings and still feel surrounded by the compassionate care of God. All are welcome.
