United Way of Nevada County is hosting a drive to collect warm socks and gloves for the homeless in our community. Donate new socks and gloves and help the homeless stay warm this winter. Who are the homeless? They are people challenged by illness or injury or both; by traumas of childhood or war or both; by their own imperfect choices or those of others or both; or by all of these troubles.
