United Way of Nevada County is holding a drive to collect warm socks and gloves for homeless people in the community. Donate new socks and gloves and help the homeless stay warm this winter. Who are the homeless? They are people challenged by illness or injury, or both; by traumas of childhood or war, or both; by their own imperfect choices or those of others, or both-or by all of these troubles.
