Upcoming trips by Nevada County travel clubs

Nevada County Travel Club

We spent Halloween with the ghost of Sarah Winchester at the San Jose Winchester Mystery House. The group enjoyed both the mile long classic tour of 110 rooms of the home and a behind the scenes/basement tour. Lunch was included at the Winchester Cafe. Trick or Treat was enjoyed at the Jelly Belly Factory on the way home.

Golden Empire Sams RV Club

The club camp out of October 7 through 11 was hosted by Darrell and Alice Freude, at the Mountain Gate RV Park, Redding, Calif. Fifteen rigs were represented, which included two new member rigs. The event included an outstanding guided tour of Shasta Dam, some games, two potluck dinners, a brief business meeting, that included a freewill donation to Hospice of the Foothills, and a final local dinner outing.
