What started as a routine hit-and-run investigation in downtown Nevada City ended with the discovery of several bags of methamphetamine and ecstasy and a felony-level pair of weaponized gloves. In the course of investigating a late-Friday night vehicular hit-and-run incident, officers with the Nevada City Police Department were questioning Patrick Davis, 26, early Saturday morning just before the bars closed, said Officer Tucker Huey.
