Global climate change and what people can do about it is the focus of the next Contemporary Issues program starting Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley. Nevada County resident and former Yuba College physics professor David Buchla starts off the broad discussion series with an overview of the science of climate change, patterns of energy consumption and options in renewable energy.
