Sierra Commons seeks space at Nevada City Veterans Building

After two years at the old Stonehouse Brewery, Sierra Commons has outgrown its current facilities and seeks to occupy and take over management responsibilities of the Nevada City Veterans Building, the nonprofit’s director says. The Nevada City Council plans to review the proposal at its meeting today. The Veterans Building is owned by Nevada County, which has worked with Nevada City since 2005 under an agreement that allowed the city to manage the building for recreational and community purposes.
