Virginia E. Press died Dec. 25 at her daughter's home. She was 95.Private services will be held on Jan. 27, 2008, in Southern California. Interment will take place at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale.Mrs. Press was born Oct. 20, 1912, in Los Angeles to Norman Horton West and Nelle Hodges. She graduated from high school in Highland Park. She married Clarence Press in 1943 in Fountain, Colo. Mrs. Press worked at Baker Quartz Hill High School.
