Garrett Lee Stanley of Nevada City passed away peacefully and among family and friends on July 6, 2012, in Ananda Village, Nevada City. He was 57.Garrett was born March 1, 1955, to Wayne Stanley and Ardis Stanley. He attended Westmont College and received a B.A. in psychology in 1979. He served in the U.S. Naval Academy and married Sylvia Lopez in Davis on Dec. 31, 1987.
