John R. Vandenberg (Jack) passed away at his home on Aug. 8, 2012.Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Ponderosa Pines clubhouse, 10135 Timberland Drive, Grass Valley, CA 95949.John was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on March 2, 1925. He lived in Michigan and Pennsylvania before moving to Grass Valley in 1994. He was an avid outdoorsman and was involved in the local Republican party in three different states.
