The investigation into an accident involving a 17-year-old Nevada Union student on Ridge Road is still ongoing, pending toxicology reports, said Grass Valley Police Capt. Rex Marks.Luke Brown allegedly was in the crosswalk when he was hit at about 2:30 p.m. March 30, just as school let out. Witnesses say he crashed into the windshield and then was thrown off the car. Brown was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, treated and released.
