Police blotter: Repeated calls about voices in vents lead to arrest

9:08 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of West Main Street reported a man who had been terminated was sending suspicious emails. He said he was upset and told them he was going to be a pain in their asses. The caller was advised to contact the man and try to come to an understanding, or get a restraining order. At 10:30 a.m., a caller reported he went by and threw rotten fruit at the front of the business. The situation was mediated. At 1:36 p.m., a caller reported he had returned and was causing a disturbance. He was told not to return or face arrest for trespassing.

11:34 a.m. — A man from the 800 block of Sutton Way called to make a confession about three trucks he stole.

11:38 a.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Olympia Park Road reported a transient sleeping behind a business, who was moving on.

1:58 p.m. — A caller from Highway 20 and Brunswick Road reported a man aggressively panhandling.

2:44 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Mill Street reported people smoking in front of a store, refusing to leave.

7:14 p.m. — A woman from the 100 block of West Berryhill Drive reported people want to shoot her, and people in the air vents are talking to her kids. At 10:10 p.m., she reported she didn’t feel safe and there was a price on her head. At 10:38 p.m., she asked for someone to pick her up, and was admonished against calling 911. She called again at 2:26 a.m., and was arrested on suspicion of annoying the 911 system.

7:49 p.m. — A caller from the 100 block of Broadview Avenue reported dogs barking for hours. 10:29 p.m. — A man from the 300 block of Sutton Way reported a person stalking a woman.


3:33 a.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Columbia Avenue reported a physical fight; no medical attention was needed. A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.

8:09 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Windmill Lane reported dogs barking all night.

8:13 a.m. — A caller from the 19000 block of Matthew Road reported very low-flying aircraft.

8:35 a.m. — A woman from the 23000 block of La Costa Court reported vandalism to a security camera system, phone lines and a vehicle.

11:30 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Allison Ranch Road reported a residential burglary.

11:32 a.m. — A caller form the 11000 block of Lower Colfax Road reported possible animal abuse.

11:36 a.m. — A man reported someone brandished a gun at him.

12:41 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Gold Drive reported a man stole a generator, abandoned dogs and caused an argument.

12:42 p.m. — A woman from the 17000 block of Duggans Road reported someone threw something through her window last night and punctured her screens.

3:47 p.m. — A man from the 13000 block of Peardale Road reported fraud by someone posing as the IRS; he sent money and they called back, asking for more.

3:51 p.m. — A caller reported a girl possibly took four large does of LSD and has overdosed. The victim was taken to the hospital.

5:32 p.m. — A caller from the Yuba River reported two missing 13-year-old boys; they were located.

5:32 p.m. — A woman from Rucker Lake reported her tent was burglarized and all her belongings were missing.

5:45 p.m. — A caller from the 26000 block of Highway 49 reported a woman was assaulting a boy.

9:49 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Airport Road reported hearing five or six gunshots; it was quiet when deputies arrived.

11:49 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Combie Road reported 30 to 40 juveniles loitering, who were gone when a deputy arrived.


12:13 a.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of You Bet Road reported a vehicle crashed and was turned over, and the suspects had fled the scene.

12:59 a.m. — A caller from Suzanne Way reported gunshots.

2:35 a.m. — A caller from Chestnut Court reported a vehicle had flipped over and no one was on the scene.
