Transform your life: Faith formation class starts Oct. 6

Seekers and new Christians who want to know more about the faith are invited to a Faith Formation class starting Oct. 6 at Peace Lutheran Church, Grass Valley.

This free class will help people explore their own beliefs, discover what Lutheran Christians believe and why, and celebrate God's gift of baptism in many ways.

The faith practices attendees' experience will attend to the whole person – body, mind and spirit.

Most classes will include a mix of new Christians, seekers who want to know more about the Christian faith, longtime Christians of other denominations, longtime Lutherans who recently have transferred to Peace, and congregation members wanting to renew their faith and understanding.

People are free to participate at the level that is comfortable for them. Attendees do not need to be a Christian or a church member to participate.

The free series is called "Baptized We Live!" and will run from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on six consecutive Sundays, Oct. 6 through Nov. 10, in the church Fellowship Center. Pastor David Mullen will lead the classes, and other congregation members will discuss their ministries.

For more information, contact Pastor Mullen at 530-273-9631.
