Search warrant ends in 3 arrests on drug charges
February 27, 2014
Narcotics detectives serving a search warrant at a Camelia Way residence Wednesday ended up arresting three people on drug charges after finding a half-ounce of meth.
The warrant was obtained after the arrest a week prior of one of the residents, Christopher Daniel McLellan Signor, said Nevada County Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force member John Dzioba.
Deputies had responded to the residence on the 24000 block of Camelia Way on Feb. 22 for a domestic violence call. After McLellan Signor was arrested, he was searched, and deputies reportedly found a small amount of methamphetamine in his pocket. He was booked into county jail on suspicion of spousal abuse, as well as for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and released on $11,750 bail.
A warrant was obtained based on the drugs reportedly found Feb. 22, Dzioba said.
Task force members arrived to find one person at the house — Alyssa Ashlee Alonso, 20. They searched her bedroom and reportedly found drug paraphernalia, including spoons, a syringe and a brown, tar-like substance.
Elsewhere in the residence, they located a half-ounce of meth and digital scales, as well as a .38 Special in a backpack that had been stashed in the garage rafters, Dzioba said.

During the search, McLellan Signor arrived and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance, Dzioba said. A search of his vehicle reportedly uncovered multiple syringes, one of which was loaded with suspected meth.
The woman in whose bedroom the half-ounce of meth was located was tracked down in Grass Valley; a passenger, identified as Kelley Michelle Foy, 35, reportedly told investigators the drugs belonged to her.
Alonso was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, booked and released on $1,000 bail.
McLellan Signor was booked into county jail on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and committing a felony while on bail. He was being held in lieu of $22,000 bail.
Foy was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession for sale, booked and released on $35,000 bail.
